The umbrella integrated with Tilt the Pole needs to be strong, durable, yet flexible. To date, the best umbrellas used have fiberglass ribs. The fiberglass ribs allow the canopy to flex with the wind - yet remain very strong. This also means that the entire frame is lighter. The 7.5' and 9' umbrellas offered by Resort Umbrella Solutions have (8) ribs that hold up the canopy. They are 12 mm in diameter. As you can see from the picture these ribs can easily snap on/off the hub - making replacing a rib very easy.

In-Ground Mount

The lower part of in-ground mount (up to the collar) will be installed into the patio concrete/brick paver (approximately 14 inches). The TTP lower post slides all the way down this tube (about 12 inches) and is pinned into place just above the collar.
