Bad Shade Burns

It is 3:00 o’clock in the afternoon – the hottest part of the day. You are sitting at a resort and are looking for some escape from the punishing sun. You find the nearest chair with an umbrella to get out of the sun. But you discover that the umbrella provides no shade (due to the angle of the sun – see pictures below). This means that you either move the heavy lounge chair or heavy umbrella, or suffer 3rd degree sun burn (OUCH!) because you do neither.

Not Great Umbrella Shade

Fixed Umbrellas

These umbrellas hardly cover these tables and chairs during the day because it is fixed to one position and cannot move with the sun.

Not Ideal Umbrella Tilt

Weak Joints

Umbrellas with weak joints will break easily from wind. The Tilt The Pole will stand up to the harshest conditions.

Resort Tent With Poor Shade

Tents

This tent has a small amount of shade because it is only able to block the sun when it is directly above.
